Hunsaker
Gas Jug
 undefined

A gas jug is a gas can right? Not when you have a Hunsaker Sports gas jug, they have a very unique and innovative design. We recently received a 5 gallon from them and were very impressed with the quality and design. All the metal parts are billet aluminum and not only durable but really add some good looks to the gas container. The plastic can is very well built and the square shape makes for easier and more compact storage. They even market an aluminum rack that holds two cans side by side. The nylon fill hose is stiff enough to not droop, but yet will bend easy enough for use. The construction of the nylon hose also keeps it flexible and will never harden or crack.

undefined    We found the Hunsaker gas jug easy to handle and we think with the construction of the jug it will last a long time and put up with the abuse we seem to deal out to gas jugs. The long vent pipe acts as the handle and can also be used to fill the jug. It will completely empty out in 10 seconds, so fast fill ups are easily done. Another thing we liked was the plastic is clear enough to see the level of the fuel in the jug. We have the 5 gallon jug, which actually holds 6 gallons, and have been satisfied using it. An 11 gallon jug, which actually holds 12 gallons, is available also. With double the weight, you better be pretty stout to handle the 12 gallon one. These jugs are not as cheap as the ones you find in the local discount stores, but we are a firm believer in “You get what you pay for”. With the quality they put on their gas jugs, they will be around long after you have gone through several of the cheaper ones. No leaks, good quality billet caps, nylon fill hose, easy handling, you can’t go wrong with the 5 or even the 11 gallon jug. We don’t think you will be disappointed.
