Sometimes fun doesn’t have to be the biggest or most expensive. Every now and then you fi nd an ATV manufactured with all the big amenities but a small price tag. The all-new Arctic Cat 250 class ATV’s are exactly that; a whole ton of fun packed into a small, easy to ride chassis that looks like its bigger, Cat Family ATV members.
The new DVX 250 and 250 2x4 machines pack a whole lot of bang for the buck. The engine is a potent 249cc, SOHC 4-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid cooled mill with backup fan for consistent cooling. Power is fed through a fully automatic CVT transmission with Hi/Lo, Forward and Reverse on 250 2x4 model, and Forward, Neutral and Reverse on the DVX model.
All that power is soaked up by adjustable fi ve position preload front shocks with a linkage-type rear shock with adjustable preload for diff erent size riders, weights and riding styles. Single hand and foot operated hydraulic disc brakes provide positive, self-cleaning stopping power in all conditions with zero adjustment.
Both models are styled with a unique Cat Family appearance. The 2x4 version features “Cat Eye” headlights and bold grille bodywork, while the DVX closely resembles that of its bigger DVX 400 brother with the option of removable, sleek, interchangeable fenders. The 2x4 has a digital instrument pod that displays speedometer, dometer, trip meter, digital clock, coolant temperature, fuel gauge and indicator lights for neutral, reverse and high beam lights.
Arctic Cat youth models come standard with lightweight aluminum wheels on the DVX, and functional racks on the 2x4 model with 50lb. front capacity and 100lb. rear rack capacity.
No matter what size ATV, Arctic Cat once again delivers a new class of 250’s that off er More to Go On.
